Slippery When Wet Signs
Australian Standard 1319 indicates that a Warning Sign should be used when there is the risk of injury. A Slippery When Wet sign has black text on a yellow background, with a black triangle and a symbol. The symbol shows a figure slipping over.
This type of sign should be placed in a position that is clearly visible for people to see. More than one sign may be needed if people can approach the area from different angles.
