Notice authorised personnel only signs inform workers and the public that certain areas or rooms are off limits to people without the proper authority to enter.

AS 1319 states that a warning sign should be used when there are non-life-threatening hazards, which can be recognised by a black triangle on a yellow background. A danger sign should be used when a life-threatening hazard is present. Danger signs have the word ‘Danger’ in white text on a red oval inside a black rectangle, with additional information below.
