Hazmat Signs
Hazmat signs inform workers and the public that hazardous materials are being used or stored at a place of business.
When the hazardous materials present a non-life threatening situation, AS 1319 states that a Warning sign should be used. These are recognised by a black triangle on a yellow background. If there is a risk to life, a Danger sign must be used. These are to have the word ‘Danger’ in white letters on a red oval on a black rectangle, which additional information below.
