Hazard Signs

Hazard signs indicate to the public and workers that there is the possibility of death or injury due to the hazardous conditions.

Australian Standard 1319 dictates that when a hazard could cause injury, a Warning Sign should be used. This has an exclamation mark on a yellow triangle. If there is the possibility of death, a Danger Sign with white lettering on a red oval over a black background must be used.
