Fire Hose Signs

Fire hose signs show the location of hoses in the event of fire and conform to Australian Standard 1319. Signs can be square or rectangle and feature white text on a red background. A hose reel symbol or an arrow may also be shown.

When a hydrant is also present, a sign with the words ‘Fire hydrant & hose reel’ may be used.
