Evacuation Signs

Evacuation signs provide information to the public about what should happen and where they can evacuate in the event of an emergency.

As emergency information signs, evacuation signs comply with AS 1319 and are recognised by white text and/or symbols on a green rectangular sign. Evacuation route signs are to have a directional arrow showing the way to the exit. Luminous signs allow the public to find the exit even in event of a power cut, but non-luminous signs are also available.
