Caution Hot Signs
Caution hot signs communicate the presence of hot surfaces and works which may or may not be life threatening.
When the hot hazard is life threatening, a danger sign should be used. This is recognised by the word ‘Danger’ on a red oval on top of a black rectangle. When the hazard is non-life-threatening, a warning sign must be used in compliance with AS 1319. A warning sign is to have a black triangle on a yellow background.
